Eat totally normally for 5 days of the week and then fast for 2 days. Fast days are made incredibly easy thanks to Lighter Life FAST. Last week was, yet another, social week including a family funeral and our wedding anniversary filled with drinking and eating (I'm beginning to think I sound like a right greedy guts after reading the past 3 weigh-in posts!)
This kind of lifestyle hasn't stopped me losing weight though during this trial.

It's the time of the month for me (sorry for TMI, guys!) and it's common knowledge that, water retention/bloating specifically, women can gain a couple of pounds. Whilst this sounds like an excuse, I am really pleased with my weight loss so far so wouldn't be too concerned should the scales show a (very small!!) gain or maintained weight.
So, *deep breath*... here's my weight this morning...
Start weight: 17st 5.8lb
Current weight: 16st 12lbs
Weekly Loss: - 0.6lbs
Total Loss: - 7.8lbs
Wow! 4 weeks of - let's face it - not really dieting, and I have lost over half a stone. I'm super thrilled, I just can't believe it. Considering I only had a baby 10 weeks ago, this has been perfect for me. The plan fits around my very busy days and I don't have to work out calories or think about the meals in advance. I've loved it and will DEFINITELY be doing this plan again in the future.

ReplyDeleteWell done! Good stuff. I did 4:3 without LL and lost 2 stone in 12 weeks, but really struggled with 500 cals on three days as I only ate an evening meal. I would give this a go though x

ReplyDeleteHave you kept on the 5:2 diet? I like the idea of the ready Lighterlife snacks. I tried 5:2 once and was successful but the weight has come back unfortunately.
