Today, however, I ran a little experiment with a Strawberry Shake that I wanted to share with you all. Plus one lucky reader will win 5 brand new Chocolate & Raisin or Chocolate & Peanut LighterLifeFAST bars so keep on reading!
As I said previously, I prefer a thick shake to a thin one, so make mine with less than the recommended amount of water. The strawberry shake is absolutely delicious. It reminds me of a cross between a McDonalds milkshake and Angel Delight... which made me think. Whilst the Peanut bars and the Toffee bars make for a great snack, they're not very... pudding-like, are they? Don't get me wrong, I enjoy them - very much so - but sometimes you just want a bowl of something like the rest of the family.
Soooo, mix the strawberry shake powder with just 150ml water instead of 220ml. Whizz it up with a hand blender to thicken then pop in a bowl in the fridge for 10-15 minutes....and wallah!
A mahoosive bowl of strawberry mousse!! It's thick, it's cold, it lasts for ages. It's exactly what you need sometimes and I'm one proud little fasting machine today :)
You could actually split this portion in 2 so you get an extra snack during the day without having to use one of your fastpacks up. So whether you're one for an elevenses or a night time TV snacker, this would be perfect.
LighterLifeFAST have kindly offered 5 of their new Chocolate & Raisin or Chocolate & Peanut bars that are available exclusively at Superdrug to one of you guys
Just enter via the rafflecopter form below and I'll announce the winner on my final weigh day on 14th July.
GOOD LUCK!
