Clean 9: Nutritional Cleansing Programme

I told you yesterday that I aim to totally detox and kick-start my weightloss journey again. I'm doing so by working with Lucy at Forever Living and starting the Clean 9 as of today.

The Clean 9 Kit, ALOE VERA GEL

What does Clean 9 do?
The idea is to cleanse your body from toxins and kick start a healthy digestive system in a bid to assist weightloss.

Clean 9 arrives complete with 3 litres of Aloe Vera Gel, 1 tin of Chocolate Shake Powder (with Aminotein), 1 pack of Garcinia Plus soft-gel capsules, 1 pack of Bee Pollen Tablets, 1 drink shaker, 1 tape measure and 1 measuring cup.

>Aloe Vera Gel is packed with nutrients, including approximately 200 active components including - vitamins A, B1,B2,B6, B12, C, E, folic acid and Niacin. It promotes good skin, healthy digestion and helps your immune system. (Great, because boy do I have a bad cold at the moment!) This also acts as a stimulant laxative, to really rid your body of the nasties and replace them with the nutrients within the gel itself.

>Aminotein is a unique blend of enzymes that is specifically designed to break down protein more efficiently. Promoting energy & increased stamina, aminotein also aids in weightloss whilst increasing the absorption of amino acids.

>Garcinia Plus is a weight management supplement that temporarily inhibits the release of an enzyme which converts any unused carbohydrates into fat, thus ensuring the body continues to burn what you've consumed.

>Bee Pollen is something that Victoria Beckham totally raves about. It is considered to be one of the worlds most complete and nourishing foods containing almost all the nutrients required by humans. It is widely claimed to boost your immune system. (This cold will be killed in a matter of hours by the sounds of it!)

My promise to you guys is to feedback my exact results as well as my experience which is why I am publishing this picture...

Clean 9 Day 1 Measurements, inch loss on clean 9

I had a major lie-in this morning as I feel rubbish today. (Did I mention I had a cold?!) The bonus was that I didn't have breakfast until 12 noon-ish so it has made the day easier than I expected!

Breakfast
I had 8oz (240ml) water, 2 Garcinia plus capsules and 30ml of Aloe Vera Gel. OMG - NOT WHAT I WAS EXPECTING! Just think of nice things like Chinese chicken and sweetcorn soup whilst downing it one. It will take some getting used to that's for sure - You know me though, I like a challenge.
Snack
8oz (240ml) water and 2 bee pollen tablets
Lunch
8oz (240ml) water, 2 Garcinia plus capsules and 30ml of Aloe Vera Gel, 2 bee pollen tablets and a 300ml choc shake made with skimmed milk. This was surprisingly filling!

Then there is Dinner (same as breakfast) and another snack afterwards (same as A.M snack). I've not yet had these yet but let me tell you - so far, so good. I'm not hungry, but I do have a bit of a headache, I think it's caffiene withdrawal though - I'm normally reliant on my coffee and tea throughout each day.
Day 2 is due to be more of the same as today BUT on Day 3, I get to introduce fooooood!! I'll report back on day 3 with my updated measurements.

In the meantime, go follow Lucy on twitter HERE as she is new to social media and could do with some of you lovely guys saying hello. She'll be bringing you deals, special offers and lots more!

Have you ever done the clean 9 or similar detox?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  3. Good luck with the detox. I don't really believe in them myself but I can see you will lose weight by restricting what you eat.
