1. At 20, make a list of things to do before you're 30.
2. During 20's, forget about said list - you have all the time in the world.
3. Moan about having never done the 'L' never mind the 'IST' 2 weeks before you turn 30.

'Three Oh' is on it's merry way (she types with creaking knuckles).

Yes, in 2 weeks time, I'm a real adult.

I can't whinge about never going out nightclubbing any more because I'm downright rude for even thinking about it never mind doing it. I remember being 17 or 18 years old and the whole of the world (OK, a few of us teenagers) were calling one particular establishment near to me the 'grab a granny' club. OH. MY. DAYS. Those 'old revellers' were only in their 30's when I really think about it... I'm in the 'granny' category.

    Don't worry about what you haven't ticked off your list. Your 30s are a time of adventure and maybe settling into being an adult. I'm over halfway through mine, and I am wondering when true adulthood actually occurs. I will say that I don't feel (that) old yet, contrary to what my teenage self might say!

    i remember the weeks leading up to my 30th (31 now) i was feeling all down, "i will have 3 kids by 30" .... thats what i said when i was 20.... blamed the hubby as it took him 8 years to be convinced! now we have a 3 year old, and planning our next one for this year (hopefully) what i realised is, it doesnt matter if i didnt do the 'list' in time. you can still do them now... nothing stopping you.... OR just add it to the 'things to do before 40 list' lol

    When I turned 30 I was like OMG I'm an adult now but last 3 years I have remained as idiotic, disney mad and immature as before lol welcome to the thirties:D

    I felt exactly the same at 30! Just turned 40, feels better some how, feels like I know how to be! Sounds weird I know! Have a fantastic 30th, it only gets better from here, I loved my 30s and I'm loving my 40s! Just married the most wonderful Man who I met just before my 30th! Just loving this stage in my life and I wish you wonderful things too!
